Hospitality
We helped Hospitality Net rethink the experience of a high-volume industry platform so its digital presence could better reflect its authority, content depth and future growth.

Hospitality Net is where the global hospitality industry reads its news, research, and expert opinion — and has been since 1994. Hotel operators, technology vendors, consultants, and senior leaders use it daily to stay informed and share knowledge. It isn't just a publication — it's the infrastructure through which industry insight reaches decision-makers worldwide.
A market leader that looked like a blog. Despite its influence, the website read as a traditional news site — new visitors couldn't tell this was a global platform where knowledge circulates between companies, experts, and decision-makers. That gap between product value and perceived value was holding back growth: user registrations, repeat visits, and the contributor ecosystem.
Underneath sat a harder problem. Hospitality Net publishes a large volume of content daily, and the structure had grown around publishing logic, not consumption logic. The real issue wasn't visual design — it was information architecture. And the redesign had to land while the client was migrating to a new technology stack.
Simplified categories, clearer hierarchy, and faster paths to relevant knowledge.

From a "media outlet" perception to a global industry community.

Table of contents, reading progress, related content, and save/share/follow.

Visible expertise, follow functionality, and contributor profiles that reward publishing.

Consistent today, and built for the platform's next decade of content formats.

The platform's digital experience now matches its actual role in the industry: a global knowledge platform and community, not a content-heavy news site. Discoverability and usability improved across a high-volume ecosystem, and the design system gives the internal team a foundation that scales. Early signals after launch: positive user feedback and improved brand perception across digital and industry channels.
Quantitative performance metrics are pending — and we'd rather say that than invent them.
